Josh Mayhem x Jermaine Rogers present "All That Glitters is Blinding" - A series of 9 custom Jermaine Rogers "Veil: Specimen 72 (I Think I Am Losing My Mind)" vinyl art figures, signed and numbered by Josh Mayhem.
Each re-sculpted piece will include a very limited edition print of Jermaine Rogers interpretation of the art figure. This print will measure 30x20 inches, and the limited edition of 9 pieces will be printed on a 'surprise' stock, signed and numbered by Jermaine Rogers. Only these 9 pieces will be printed on this special surprise stock!

So for almost the past 2 years I've been collecting drips onto gallery canvases from the various custom toy series' and one offs I've done, creating a form of art, created by art. I've then coated these canvasses with resin, filled in the negative spaces by hand with additional paint drips, then finally added a 2nd layer of resin, creating a 3d floating effect. They're suuuuper psychedelic. I'm debuting the first 2 pieces from this "Gravitate" series 11/4/17 at the @Bruce Lurie Gallery for the "Toy Stories" group show. I'll also have various retrospective custom toys displayed as well. The show is in Culver City so I hope to see my LA peeps there! - SOLD
