So for almost the past 2 years I've been collecting drips onto gallery canvases from the various custom toy series' and one offs I've done, creating a form of art, created by art. I've then coated these canvasses with resin, filled in the negative spaces by hand with additional paint drips, then finally added a 2nd layer of resin, creating a 3d floating effect. They're suuuuper psychedelic. I'm debuting the first 2 pieces from this "Gravitate" series 11/4/17 for the "Toy Stories" group show. I'll also have various retrospective custom toys displayed as well. The show is in Culver City so I hope to see my LA peeps there!
